Ah, the Scale Still Sucks....
I'm sure it's because my lifestyle over the last two weeks since surgery has been much more sedentary than usual. Not that I work out every day or anything, but I certainly move more than I've been moving. That being said, I did day one of C25k Tuesday, walked about three miles at the zoo yesterday, did day two of C25k today and have stuck under 1100 calories a day and still gained a pound this morning. So today I drank 100 ounces of water, ate 76 grams of protein, ate 1200 calories in total, but burned about 350 while C25k'ing today. I'm not going to be upset if I weigh in tomorrow and still find myself up, I can't get angry, it's not going to help anything. I got my bodybugg today and am already wearing it. It is going to be my little investigative device to help me understand what's going on with my body.
I'm heading to my college homecoming this weekend with four girlfriends and am really excited. It's going to pour, which bites, but it's always a nice weekend full of friends from the past. There is a music department concert on Friday night and the football game on Saturday. I try to go every year and really look forward to it. It's usually a HUGE drinking weekend, but I've already signed up to be the designated driver since I'm a one drink kind of gal these days.
Anyway, I likely won't be blogging this weekend, but I'll catch up with y'all on Sunday. (Back to work on Monday....boo.....)
Hope you have a terrific time. How many of these friends have seen you since losing more than 50 lbs? That should be really exciting, have a great time.
