Bad Scale....Bad (Imagine finger waving)


After losing 29 pounds in four weeks, I have been struggling for 5 days to get to 30 pounds. Up one pound, back down, up one pound, back down. SO FRUSTRATING!! I know I know, I'm supposed to be healing, your body went through a trauma. Well, I don't care (Imagine stomping feet). IT'S NOT FAIR!!!!!! I'm eating perfectly, struggling to get to 1,000 calories each day, should I eat more to get the scale moving? I thought my sodium intake was high, but it's right on track according to a site I found. So what does that leave....the dreaded exercise. That's right, I have to get my ass off the couch and into the gym. p.s. I have one in my basement....that is how lazy I am! So, tomorrow begins the workouts. Why not tonight?...you know one of you is asking that right now. Because I have plans tonight and they don't involve the gym! Enough ranting...

  1. Happy weekend to you! The damn thing will move. It's like a watched pot...never boils when you are looking at it. yes, just a smidge of exercise might help, and maybe if you can up your calories by 100 more? Are you drinking your agua?

  2. Patience chica !!! I know I'll be the first want to curse and rant my way through it as well (LOL) !!!! I think it's the water, not enough and you'll retain all of it. Also are you weighing more than 1x week ??

  3. Jacqui - I weigh everyday, can't get past it, but I only count it on Mondays, so I'm trying not be crazy. I have been drinking water and have upped it but will continue to do so. I'm getting on my elliptical tonight, we'll see what Monday brings!!

  4. Hide those scales girl!! lol It's the best thing you can do since us women seem to bounce around like ping pong balls with the upping and downing of our weight.
    Hopefully the gym might give it the kick start you need! Fingers crossed for you.
