How I'm Doing

HUGE NSV!!

A while back Miss Catherine gave me an entire wardrobe of clothing! It was fantastic. A few of the things I could wear at the time but most of them were definitely off in the future. Well, while some things are still in the future (size 14 Banana Republic pants), one of the pair of pants fits me perfectly now. And let me just say THANK GOD, because I am leaving for Boston tomorrow and didn't do laundry so I now have a pair of pants to wear!! There are a couple of other pairs that I can get on and even zip but I probably need five more pounds or a few more Zumba classes before I'd feel comfortable wearing them to work.

You are probably asking yourself "Jen, why don't you just suck it up and do the laundry?" Well that was my plan. I was going to work from home tomorrow morning and do laundry while working. WELL, then I remembered that my drivers license expired on my birthday (December) and I still haven't gotten it renewed. Ummm...renting a car in Boston, probably want a valid drivers license. SO, new plan. Wear Catherine's pants in Boston (YEAH) so that I can skip doing laundry and sit at the lovely NYC DMV to get a new license. I'd so rather be doing laundry!!! ;-)

There were a few other cool NSV's, like trying on shirts and not finding anything that fit because they were all too big. So, while the scale is slow it seems my measurements are indeed declining more rapidly. It also means that I have to buy a shirt to wear when I get to Boston. Nothing like shopping on the fly! This will be my first foray into some normal sized stores at the mall to see what I can find! I'll post pics.

Last but not least, I am so excited to go to Boston tomorrow because I get to have dinner with Kristin and Nicole!

  3. That is one thing that is wonderful about traveling bandster clothes bc even if they are too small they will fit soon enough and it gives you a nice gauge! Have fun in Boston. Don't you ever travel to Pensacola? I mean COME ON!

  12. Yay!! I can't wait until I can fit into the two pair of jeans you gave me. Same thing, they go up and zip just fine, but I should lose about 5 more pounds.

What a great feeling to be able to shop in normal stores. Can't wait to hear how it goes!
