How I'm Doing

Hoo Lordy, I am TIGHT!

Don't think that I'm overfilled, as I got filled Monday and have felt fine. BUT, guess what came today? Yep, my (.) FINALLY! Let's get some of this bloat away please. Not sure about y'all, but my band seems to fall into all of those "band could be tighter if" scenarios. Flying - check, band is tighter. Period - check, band is tighter. Stressed - check, band is tighter, and morning - check, totally tighter.

Now, let's discuss the stress piece for a minute. Things are fantastic at work, we're getting some movement in new business which means hopefully winning new work and bringing in revenue. BUT, this comes with some scary pieces in my new role. For instance. I have a meeting today with the CEO of my parent company, the President of my parent company and the Head of HR from a huge media organization. Why?? For me to listen to his challenges, present our capabilities and try to sell some business. HOLY $HIT. As if presenting to a potential client that big wasn't enough, now I have to do it in front of the two top guys in my parent company. Ha. Huge opportunity that I'm obviously excited about, but all of my lovely friends sending the most amazing "Jen be smart and articulate" vibes at 4:30 EST would be amazingly helpful.

p.s. The tightness meant I got stuck on my first sip of iced coffee this morning. REALLY? Managed to drink it over the next three hours. Had a banana at 11:30, totally fine. Then a luna bar at 12:30 that went down a bit rough, probably ate it too fast as well. Got stuck, pb'd. Feeling okay now. Trying to drink more water. Will eat something very soft and mushy for dinner and it will be preceeded by a martini. ;-)
