Welcome to bizzaroland! Sunday and Monday I felt like I had a neverending stomach. Tuesday, not so much. Had my typical iced coffee for breakfast, small salad with pecans and cheese for lunch. Had ordered a crab cake, took two bites; stuck. Tried a protein bar yesterday afternoon, ate 1/2 = stuck. Last night, two martini's = yeah bowling night! When I got home I had a bowl of chili, that was fine.
Today, iced coffee for breakfast, protein bar at 11am, went down slower than usual. Crackers with hummus for lunch went down fine. 1/2 a red velvet cupcake from Billy's Bakery. They are my ABSOLUTE favs and it was a colleagues bday so his girlfriend had them delivered. They are normal sized cupcakes and I was really happy with myself that I only had 1/2. Total calories before I got home = 750. Got home around 6:30 and had a small handful of nuts. Two bites of chili = stuck. WTF!!! I do think maybe I ate the nuts too fast, but I also think maybe this fill has kicked in. Hope that's the case!!
On the boy front: Still no dates. I mean I understand that NYC has far more women than men so they can be more choosy, but WTF!! I'm cute, I'm funny and deserve to be loved dammit. Where are all of the boys??

My band is doing the same thing yours is...weirdo band. One day starving and able to eat lots, the next stuck city. Good job with the cupcake, I did not do so well on Saturday. I am totally not getting the boy thing, but the right one will come along and he will count his lucky stars that he found you!
ReplyDeleteUgh, boys. New York boys = double ugh. But there's one out there for you, I know it. Any business trips coming up??
ReplyDeleteWow-- that is strange about the band... with all of the 'stuckyness' are you feeling less hungry now? I hope so if you're so easily stuck.
ReplyDeleteI sort of relate-- stuck= less hunger b/c more restricted, but WTF do I know???
Keep on trucking with the boy search. Seriously, the right one could be literally around the corner. Here's to hoping: I met my husband and got engaged in 6 WEEKS. You read that right.
We've been married almost 8 years-- so it can work out great and the older you are, the easier it is to make a choice quickly b/c you know yourself so well.
Here's to hoping for a new boy soon!!
