66.6.....

How about we just call it 67?  I know it's too soon to tell, but I think I may have reached my sweet spot or the green zone. I start my day off with an iced coffee every morning, so yesterday started the same. I was in meetings all morning and ran out at 11am to get my fill but forgot my protein bar. That sucked since it would have  been my last piece of solid food until Monday. I was starving waiting for my fill (which was a two hour wait). But afterwards I wasn't as hungry. I got a chocolate milk when I got back to work, took about 25 minutes to drink it and then had the client party last night. I had a glass of wine while I watched my colleagues eating roast beef, pasta, salad and dessert and you know what? I could have cared less!  Wasn't hungry and had no desire to eat. I had CHOCOLATE MILK yesterday and that was it for "food". RIDICULOUS! Hence, a two-pound loss.

Today we had a team lunch at McCormick and Schmicks. I took a page from the Catherine playbook and ordered the seafood and corn chowder and asked the waitress to have them puree the soup. At first she said "Oh, we don't do that". I asked her to check with the kitchen and sure enough they do do that. The soup was yummy. I'm going to have a jamba juice for dinner and tomorrow starts mushies. Since I weighed 216.4 this morning, I'm feeling like that 213 goal for Thanksgiving might just happen!

Ooh..major NSV. Today is casual Friday (e.g., jeans day) at work. All of my jeans that fit - two pairs - were dirty, so I went to the back of the closet (the old, skinny clothes) and found a pair of jeans. They are size 18 old navy...not womens, no stretch, just plain old 18's probably from 2004. They fit perfectly. I'm not sure I'll wear them again..they are really light - not acid washed light (ha), but light. BUT, I feel absolutely FANTASTIC wearing them today. I'll try to take a pic when I get home and post. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BAND!!!!!!!

Have a good weekend, Jen. xx
