Facebook and Internet Dating

I actually changed my facebook profile picture to a picture from this week. This is HUGE for me. I have hidden all tagged photos of myself since I joined facebook and have had the same profile picture of me up there for two years which is about 15 pounds less than I am now. So, I'm very excited that I'm feeling confident enough about how I look to update it with a recent picture.

Now, onto Internet dating. I joined match.com yesterday...figured I should up the odds. I've had a good number of men "wink" at me (10 since yesterday) and three emails. Out of all of those, I'd probably only respond to 1. Why oh why can't one of the men that I'm interested in just email me or wink? It's only day two, so here's hoping.

I was down to 204.8 this morning but I've had one of those days where I'm grazing. I also made chili and had some for lunch and then again for dinner. Just weighed myself and I'm up to 207.6. HA....the crazy thing is that I haven't eaten more than 1500 calories today (which is alot for me), but I clearly won't be 204.8 tomorrow morning. Oh well, I had a hungry day, and you know what, that's okay!

xoxo

I need to update my facebook picture as well, it's weird I haven't posted to many in my losing phase.

  2. yeah I get you girl...I've had a grazing couple of days. I've been visiting my hubby's office and godiva has been making many apperances there lately !! So you know where that ends up right ??
The extra couple of pounds I lost due to Santa's stomach virus are long forgotten too !!

  3. I think - when we eat so little and then have a splash out day - it ALWAYS bumps us up - but then thankfully we have the band to bump it back down and fast!!

Hey, good luck on the match.com... those men are in for a treat when they finally meet you... and you will be nabbed fast!!! Looking good, darl.

  8. If you aren't even at 1500 I certainly wouldn't worry about it. That can't possibly make you actually gain weight, even if there's a temporary up on the scale. Good luck with Match and internet dating. It can be super fun, but I also found it rather addictive. And wow, all that attention! I certainly didn't garner that much of a reaction, so you are just smokin!

  9. Let me know how the internet dating goes! I've signed up w/ that before met a few dudes and went on a date with 1 and it did not go well. But I was at my highest then and wasn't feeling too confident anyway.
