So I figure the headaches are carb withdrawal. Had multiple terrible headaches yesterday as well. Woke up with one this morning but it seems to have gone anyway. Here's praying it stays that way!
Ate well yesterday. Made grilled chicken and little red roasted potatoes with salad for dinner. Got stuck three bites of chicken in. Always get tight the night before my (.) comes, so I wasn't surprised when it arrived at 6 this morning. As an aside. I started a new birth control - the ring... I love it so far, but this was the first month so I didn't know what to expect in terms of when my (.) would arrive. My band is like a vice today. Had yogurt and fruit for breakfast - fine. Tried salad with chicken and veggies for lunch. Probably ate about 1/2 and then got stuck. No sliming, just stuck. I'm not very hungry so that's good.
I have dinner with a girlfriend who knows about the band tonight. We're going to a fish place. I don't do lobster bisque so I'm thinking a very light fish that will go down smooth. ;-) here's hoping!
I am down 3.5 so far this week. Was hoping for more but with my (.) I'll probably retain more of the 100 ounces I've been drinking. Weigh in day Monday so hopefully it will all be out by then! ;-)

I think 3.5 is great progress! I've only lost that much weight in one week ONCE since being banded. I'm so jealous!

ReplyDeleteI have done the ring on and off a few times, and I like it a lot. The patch made me a psycho, and I hate having to take a pill every day. The ring is a nice balance.
