In a good way! I was 176.4 this morning. Great news on any day, but particularly on a day back from vacation. I'm definitely at my sweet spot. I found while away that I ate what I wanted, but ate slowly and didn't eat too much. For examples, I had baby back ribs on Tuesday night. I ate four of them and one bite of mashed potatoes. Yummy! Not too much food at all, felt incredibly satisfied and got some good protein. Last night after traveling and eating many tiny cookies from the Chip yard in Boston, I just had a side caesar salad for dinner (however, this particular salad has molten cheese croutons). YUM! I had a great time away with friends and coming back to a loss was just a fantastic surprise!
I had a hilarious, but frustrating thing happen. Last night it took me forever to park my car. Was planning on throwing it in the garage for 24 hours until I learned that would cost me $52. UGH! NYC... So, I found a space but had to move the car by 7am. I've had terrible sleep on this vacation of mine and had been looking to sleep in. But I figured I'd make the best of it. I'd bring Lucy, I'd get some iced coffee, I'd find an even better space. I finally decide to hit the sack at midnight last night only to lie here due to the loud rain slamming down on my A/C. I tried the couch, nope...wanted my bed. Fell asleep at 1:30. I must have turned off my alarm and fell back to sleep. Honestly don't remember my alarm going off at all. I woke up at 8:30...$65 ticket. HA! Should've paid for the damn garage! Now, it's parked right in front of my building. I had to sit in it for an hour (no parking 8:30 - 10), but it's now safely there and I don't have to move it again. Tonight = Motrin PM!!
Easy day planned today. Meeting some of my former colleagues (and friends) for lunch. I miss them already! I am going to be doing a lot of practicing today, next "band" camp is August 9th and our performance is on the 13th. Need to do some planning for the new job today and tomorrow as well and get in some workouts!
Hope you are all great!!

ReplyDeleteCongrats on the loss! And boo for the ticket!
ReplyDeleteI deleted last post because I published without proofing.....major gibberish!
My daughter and I are coming to NY this month. I have decided to park my car at the train station in NJ and ride the train into the city. I can't even think about parking there! Way to go on the weight loss!
ReplyDeleteI just have to say thank you kindly for waiting for me to catch up with you! I know you could have left me in the dust but you were selfless and thinking about me. I haven't caught up with you, but what I am saying is that since you are my role model, I like to know that we are on the same damn track!
ReplyDeleteLove you poodles!
Way to go on the new number, especially after vacation!
ReplyDeleteI could not handle NY and parking. I would rely on public transportation. I used to drive into Chicago for things and decided the train and taxi were less stressful.
Good luck on your new job!
Yay for a new low! And boo for the neverending (expensive) headache that is parking in New York.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a great low!
ReplyDeleteEverytime you mention NY in your post...my mind drifts away...ONE DAY!
You can contest parking tickets online and get it reduced - they just want some revenue. AND...you look great!
ReplyDeleteOuch! The buggers get you every which way. Looking good darl.
ReplyDeleteI'd kill for 176...how awesome are you.
ReplyDeleteTickets bite donkey balls.
You must be getting so excited for the new job...you're going to kill it. How do I know???? I'm Cindylew!
You look awesome! 175 is one of the first goals I would like to shoot for and if your pics are any indication of how great that weight feels I can't wait! You look so skinny! :) Way to go!
ReplyDeleteYay Jenny!!! Good for you... I will email you my new work email address-- if I forget, send me an email to my yahoo.
ReplyDeleteWe MUST make the pool plan before the entire summer gets away, ok?
Haha! Gotta love alternate side parking! That is one thing I don't miss, those stupid tickets! <3
