Going with my mom, aunt and my cousin to the running store today. Aunt and cousin are huge running people and they have a "shoe guy" so hopefully I'll get fitted with a good pair. I've been noticing my left ankle and sometime knee really hurt when I run, so hopefully the new shoes will calm that down.
Had an amazing time in Temecula! My friends Jenny and Matt live in a gorgeous location, we just relaxed and drank wine all weekend. Of course air travel did me in on Friday. Couldn't keep anything down. Saturday was fine, Sunday back at not really being able to eat. I worked out on the bike at their house, doing 11 miles in 30 minutes both days, that's about 500 calories burned each time. Ate well yesterday, some nuts, protein bar, cheese and crackers, 2 glasses of wine, some chicken enchilada's that my mom had made (probably about 1/2 cup). Didn't eat a lot because of my stomach issues, but was glad that everything went down smoothly. (TMI ALERT) Last night I was incredibly nauseous. Not sure what was going on, but I actually went to throw up. Nothing came out, just these horrible deep belching sounds. Does this happen to you guys? I find it so strange.
Heading to see my oldest friends today. Former neighbors from when I was four years old. That should be great fun! Tomorrow I'm going to watch mom play tennis and then have lunch with her tennis friends. Maybe mom and I will catch a movie after that. Thursday is my massage, then tea with Gramma and dinner with the entire family. Friday = shopping with mom!!
Vacation is going way too fast, but it's been so incredibly relaxing. I'm feeling very grateful.
Here's some pics from Temecula.
