More Shopping and a Great Day!

Mom and I did some more shopping on Thursday and she bought me more yummy stuff! These pictures aren't the best, it was the end of a long day, and my headband broke mid-photo shoot, so "hello girl in need of a serious highlight"! But, again it's about the dresses, not me!! I had a great day yesterday (my last full day in Phoenix). Mom had a photo shoot from 12-3 (she's a professional singer and pulling together new marketing materials for a group she's performing with). I dropped her off and went to return the grey dress that I bought earlier in the week (the second one in the photos from my previous post). After trying it on again at home, I didn't love it. Took it back to Macy's and bought two pairs of shorts and have a credit back on my card for future shopping! Then I went to see "The Back-up Plan", new JLo movie. Movie was okay, the popcorn was GREAT! I totally went for it food wise. Had a Diet Dr. Pepper (YUM), two cookies (from Paradise Bakery, my favorite), a couple of red vines, and probably about 1/4 of a small popcorn. Luckily I'm at my sweet spot, so I have been doing relatively well calorie-wise this week. BUT, I decided I was on vacation so it was okay to go off track a bit at the movies. YUM! After I picked up my mom, we went to see my cousins who I hadn't been able to spend time with this week and then went home. Mom made dinner, and she, her boyfriend and I watched the Phoenix Suns win game three of the series. Go Los Suns!

Woke up today, packed and then dropped off a box of stuff I was shipping home (bought too much on vacation for my little suitcase) and went to breakfast. Then on a plane home. I'm actually still on the plane now, landing in about 45 minutes. So excited to see my babies!!

Okay, dress pictures below. Hope you guys are all doing well!! xoxo

Dress from White House Black Market. So incredibly comfortable and while you can't really see it in this photo, it has a really pretty blue stripe around the waist band.

I got two dresses from Fresh Produce, a store I found while in Florida. The skirt I'm wearing in my previous post is from there too. I got another of that same skirt in solid black and then this dress (which is the same dress in the photos I had you all vote on. I had borrowed it from my friend, now I have my own!)

This dress looks better in person than in this photo. Just a cute summer maxi dress. Note, the collarbones. They are my favorite part. ;-)

  2. I'm so happy you had such a great vacation! All the dresses are great and you look great in them! Question for you: When you update your blog on the plane, are you in an offline mode? Just wondering how you do this. Thanks!

  4. Sounds like a wonderful vacation. I love, love white house black market and haven't been in there again yet. I am still operating in "fat girl" mode...haven't been to the banana, ann taylor or white house black market. Soon, I will get there soon. Good job with the new dresses and the pretty shapely legs!!

  8. You look great Jen! I love the dresses - it's so great you're out shopping for Spring/Summer. Also, your arms look so good. I bought a sleeveless shirt at Ann Taylor yesterday and I'm not sure if I can wear it out, my arms are soooo bad.
