Linda: your comment re: my arms being thin. It's actually a photographic mirage. My arms are horrible. I have to make sure that I "suck them in" when taking a photo because my bat wings move forward causing this horrible cellulite thing. It's honestly one of the places I would really like to have surgery. I feel incredibly insecure wearing anything with capped sleeves and won't wear sleeveless because of them. So...it's a figment of the camera's imagination, not really how my arms look in person. It's funny how we all have our "things". My arms are mine.

ReplyDeleteI just wanted to tell you hello and congratulations on how well you have done. I just had surgery on April 22nd. I have been doing really well (down 25 pounds from starting the liquid pre op) but have hit a bit of a stumbling block over the last two days and feeling a bit down and out about it..well your blog (it is 1AM and I read through most of it) has really given me a little inspiration, and I wanted to say Thank you. Your blog and Catherine's (i haven't posted on her wall yet) have been so helpful, especially because I live in NYC as well (Kurian is actually my Doctor)..I'm trying to get more secure and confidence about posting (only my family and a few people know/read my blog) because I really do think it helps...my blog is bandedtolose.blogspot.com if you ever want to check it out (not nearly as exciting as yours..working on it!)...thanks again
