Hello Everyone!! I know that I have been a horrible non-blogger, but let's focus on the positive, I'm recommitting! Today begins "Operation Get Jen Back to Her Ticker Weight and to Goal". I've been completely out of control. The band has helped slightly but in reality I've been living without a fill for the last two months. The last time I went in (for an unfill) I asked where my fill level was last July. My band was in a great place and my weight loss was consistent. Well, it was 7.7 (I think). The short story was that I had gone back and forth between the same .2 cc's for the last 7 months. .1 in, then another .1 in, then .1 out, then .1 in and so on and so on. So I decided to unfill .2 and have been able to eat too much and have been choosing all of the wrong things. Pasta, Bread, and I've been eating too many sweets! It all changes today. I meet with my personal trainer in an hour and we work out for 90 minutes. I have a herniated L4, L5 from 15 years ago that seemed to re-injure in December so I haven't exercised. The great thing about my trainer is that he understands back injuries. So, he'll push me but in a way that takes the back into account. I'm excited! I've been lazy and I don't like it!
I leave for San Francisco tomorrow for business for a week. K (my PT) is going to set me up with a workout plan for the week as well as a nutrition plan (no startchy carbs, high lean protein, lots of veggies). I'm traveling with a colleague who is very into exercise, so I know there will be at least three workouts while I'm gone.
So, I'm back I'm on track and I'm ready to get to goal this year!
On another note, I've really missed you guys and there seriously is a correlation between blogging and success! Looking forward to re-engaging in this community. xoxo

ReplyDeleteMissed you lady! I have back issues too and my trainer is great with that. I also get regular massage and chiro work which helps. I'm functioning on 'no restriction' as well b/c I had an unfill about a month ago, having felt too tight. Well, I think they took out more then they claimed because I can eat ANYTHING, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE. The good news? I've maintained. But I'd like to see a loss so just yesterday I recommitted to watching what I eat more carefully until I can get another fill (3 more weeks, yikes!). Consider yourself in good company!
