Finally visited the doctor!

Hi ladies,

First off, I miss this world! I try to keep ip with people via their blogs and facebook but writing was always such good therapy!!

I went to Dr. F's office yesterday and saw the Nurse Practitioner. Turns out I hadn't been there in nearly two years. Had an esophogram and everything looks good with my band. I explained that I was hungry more often than not but that I was also eating the wrong foods which was leading to me being stuck often. If I think about it when I eat the right foods and slowly, I rarely have problems. That being said my band formerly had 7.2 in it. She measured yesterday and there was 6.0. In addition from the pictures on my esophogram you could see the liquid "whooshing" through the band. (Her words). So I got a fill. She started at .5 but when I drank water it wasn't moving down. So she removed .2, settling at .3. I stuck to liquids yesterday but it was like post surgery. Two ounces of soup was all I could get down. My thought was a) she took all of the fluid out and put it back so maybe I'm swollen and b) I have a raging cold. Stuffy, snotty, sore throat. My band is sensitive so all of these things would typically contribute to tightness. I'm slowly moving a gnc protein shake down my tummy this morning and plan on having some hot coffee once I get to the office (I usually do iced). I am hoping I don't need an unfill but will get one if that's the case. It's just frustrating that my band was so open according to the films and yet with .3 I'm feeling such restriction! Thoughts??
